Charlinda Haudley, Ph.D.

Dr. Haudley is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, and currently works in the office of Senator Mark Kelly, the junior United States Senator from Arizona. Prior to her position there, she worked in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Arizona.

Charlinda obtained her doctorate in higher education in May 2021 from the University of Arizona. Her research focuses on intertribal student engagement at a university Native American student center. She received her Masters of Education from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2014, she graduated from the University of Arizona and is a proud alumnus of the UA Arizona Assurance Program, Ronald E. McNair Achievement Program, and UCLA’s Graduate Opportunity Fellowship Program.

In 2020, Charlinda received the Tucson's 40 Under 40 Award from the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In 2019, she received the Maria Teresa Velez Diversity Leadership Award for her commitment to furthering diversity in education, higher education, and the community at large. She is a member of the UA American Indian Alumni Club and the Tucson Young Professionals organization. Charlinda serves on the Board of Directors for Higher Ground a Resource Center as well, and is a part of the Lead Tucson Class of 2022 with Greater Tucson Leadership.
